Designs the full drilling and charging pattern for tunnel and development faces, with extra design types for other underground work.

Tunnel profiles: D-shape, box, horseshoe, circular or your own custom shape

Cut, easer, grid, perimeter (smooth blasting) and lifter holes calculated, then editable

Will it run on my computer?

Ring, Tunnel and Surface Blast Designer run on most office PCs and laptops from the last few years. The same requirements apply to the computers used on the software training course.

Operating system: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
Processor: Dual-core, 2 GHz or faster
Memory (RAM): 4 GB minimum, 8 GB recommended
Disk space: 500 MB free
Screen: 1366 × 768 minimum, 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) recommended
Mouse: Recommended for drawing and editing designs
Internet: Needed to download the installer and receive your licence key

Installing: run the downloaded Setup file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info and then Run anyway. This appears for new programs that Windows doesn't know yet.

Software training

Learn the program in person

2 days, R5 000 per person. Includes in-person training on the program and a 1-month trial licence, so you can try it on your own blasts before you buy. Travelling costs are not included. Each participant needs their own computer or laptop that meets the system requirements, and the venue needs a boardroom or computer room with a projector or display.
